Join community gardening mornings in the GRA Community Garden 

Open to all.  

These events are held on the first Saturday of every month from 10am - 12.00pm

The next dates are: -

Play Streets 2026 

Thinking ahead to summer, dates for the diary. 

A scheme run by the Gardens Residents Association, where we close Grafton Gardens to traffic (with the Council's permission) on the 1st Sunday of each month so kids can play out on the street. 

The proposed dates that have yet to be confirmed for 2025 are as follows: - 

• Sunday, June 7th, 2-4pm 
• Sunday, July 5th, 2-4pm  
• Sunday, August 2nd, 2-4pm 
• Sunday, September 6th, 2-4pm
• Sunday, October 4th, 2-4pm 
• Sunday, November 1st, 2-4pm  
• Sunday, December 6th, 2-4pm  

GRA Meeting Dates for 2026

GRA Meetings for 2026 will either be in the Community Garden, weather permitting or online.  

Held on the second Tuesday of each month except August 

• Tuesday 12th May 2026 - 8 - 9.30pm 
• Saturday 4th June 2026 - 4 - 5.30pm (AGM)  
• Tuesday 14th July 2026 - 8 - 9.30pm 
• Tuesday 8th September 2026 - 8.30 - 9pm

• Tuesday 10th November 2026 - 8.30 - 9pm

Play Street on the 7th of May 2023 was a fantastic day over 100 people attended.

Thank you to all those who baked delicious cakes.

We collected £73 cash and more was collected via the card reader.

Make Harringay Home - Get your T-shirts

Make Harringay Home is a voluntary organisation whose aim is to settle a refugee families into the local area and support them through their first two years here. This is part of the government's community sponsorship programme (https://resetuk.org/). The volunteers are from in and around the Gardens area. 

We are currently looking for a self-contained rental property for a family fleeing conflict. We are also selling t-shirts -- designed by children of volunteers, put together by next-door neighbours of a volunteer and printed at https://www.taosport.co.uk/ on Green Lanes. A community effort! Donation Based Yoga Classes in the Community Gardens

When: –  

• May 28th, 10 – 11am

• June 11th & 25th, 10 – 11am

• July 9th & 23rd, 10 – 11am 

• August 13th & 27th (TBC)  

Where: –

Gardens Residents Association Community Gardens, N4 1HX

Costs: – 

Donation-based class all proceeds go to Gardens Resident Association.  A card payment reader will be available before and after the sessions.  Please note no cash will be accepted. 

What to bring: – 

Please bring your own yoga mat and any props that will help you in your practice. Please wear comfortable stretchy layered clothing that you can keep on or take off during your practice.

Weather Cancellations 

As the yoga sessions will be held outside, we will be dependent on dry warm weather.  There may be occasions that the class can not go ahead due to bad weather, be it rain, windy conditions and or cold temperatures.
