Carols by Candlelight in the Community Gardens

Make Harringay Home - Get your T-shirts

Make Harringay Home is a voluntary organisation whose aim is to settle a refugee families into the local area and support them through their first two years here. This is part of the government's community sponsorship programme (https://resetuk.org/). The volunteers are from in and around the Gardens area. 

We are currently looking for a self-contained rental property for a family fleeing conflict. We are also selling t-shirts -- designed by children of volunteers, put together by next-door neighbours of a volunteer and printed at https://www.taosport.co.uk/ on Green Lanes. A community effort! Donation Based Yoga Classes in the Community Gardens




When: –  

• May 28th, 10 – 11am

• June 11th & 25th, 10 – 11am

• July 9th & 23rd, 10 – 11am 

• August 13th & 27th (TBC)  


Where: –

Gardens Residents Association Community Gardens, N4 1HX


Costs: – 

Donation-based class all proceeds go to Gardens Resident Association.  A card payment reader will be available before and after the sessions.  Please note no cash will be accepted. 


What to bring: – 

Please bring your own yoga mat and any props that will help you in your practice. Please wear comfortable stretchy layered clothing that you can keep on or take off during your practice.


Weather Cancellations 

As the yoga sessions will be held outside, we will be dependent on dry warm weather.  There may be occasions that the class can not go ahead due to bad weather, be it rain, windy conditions and or cold temperatures.

Rutland Gardens - Play Streets - 2024

Thinking ahead to summer, dates for the diary. 

A scheme run by the Gardens Residents Association, where we close Rutland Gardens to traffic (with the Council's permission) on the 1st Sunday of each month so kids can play out on the street. 

The proposed dates that have yet to be confirmed for 2024 are as follows: - 

  • Sunday 7th April 2024
  • Sunday 5th May 2024
  • Sunday 2nd June 2024
  • Sunday 7th July 2024
  • Sunday 4th August 2024
  • Sunday 1st September 2024
